Founding Secretary
From the Founding Secretary.

(This letter was given to the 40 years celebration committee in 1997.)

From the Founding Secretary.
Epping Heights Primary School was started in the last term of 1956.the foundation headmaster was Mr A Hiscock supported by Mrs Kennyon and Mrs Watsford.

The Parents & Citizens Association of the school was quickly formed

Mr Walter Selley was elected as Patron.
The School was officially opened by Mr R J Hefferon, Minister for Education in conjunction with his very old friend Walter Selley.

The school was and still is unique in so far as it was brought together by people from all walks of life, without any lines of demarcation, all with a common aim to form and equip a school which would provide a high standard of education, trust and respect from pupil, parent and teachers.

Prior to leaving the office as secretary after six years I wrote up the history of the school. Unfortunately, a fire broke out in the building that this book was housed and it was completely destroyed.

With the greatest of pleasure

A G Brown
