Environmental Education

At Epping Heights Public School we have a current School Environment Management Plan.(SEMP)

We are working on establishing a whole-school vision for sustainability.

At Epping Heights we integrate Environmental Education across all stages and KLAs where appropriate.

During 2010 and the theme of "The Year of Sustainability" an Environmental Committe was formed and continued with SEMP while initiating a number of other projects.  One of these was students from Stage 2 giving up part of their lunches to patrol the school by helping out with the collecting of food scraps, recycling paper bags, watering tomato plants, picking up papers and turning off classroom lights.
